Premier Outdoor Living in the Hidden Rainforest

The Hidden Rainforest is an example or premier outdoor living. This pool is special to me because it is my personal pool (Chris Smith). One of many personal pools but still one of my favorite pools. The Hidden Rainforest pool is an all lagoon natural pool but it comes off as a Hawaiian rain forest not what you would think of as a like a grotto. It has a array of plant material from Hawaii and from Bora Bora and that in itself creates an island theme.

This pool was recognized nationally with a silver medal. The Houston Texans cheerleaders came over and did their yearly calendar photography there. It’s been on Deborah Duncan and it’s been on CBS. It’s been on a several media coverages because of its uniqueness.

The kids absolutely love this pool. There’s one unique combination. There is is an oversized beach entry into the main pool which is uniquely done but at the same time we wanted a beach entry into the spa area. Multiple beaches entries on one pool is kind of a unique feature. It has a full functioning river that leads up into the palm forest which the kids love to play on.

The pool has a grotto with speakers and fiberoptic mushrooms in it and a sitting area with a drink wedge which the kids absolutely loved. Unique sculptures, unique planting, a unique backyard, incredible waterfall stonework, all 37 tons of it, and about 1,200 square feet of acrylic customs stamp overlay decking.

The spa is unique in itself other than the beach entry. We’ve had 18 people in that spa and no problems with room. It also has a custom molded gunite seat with strategically placed jets for your upper neck, lower back and calf jet. The therapeutic value of a custom guide spa is at the high level on this particular pool.

This is premier outdoor living. It is the pool for kids and families. It is designed to create adventure, the element of surprise, the drama. This is a great pool for a young family that loves to be outside and loves to have adventurous swim days. Hidden Rainforest is a wonderful project and still is one of our top 20 pools out of well over 1500 pool installations.
